REPORT OF ESTAFA CASE
Rodenia Udaundo Carpio. Wanted on charges of estafa for scamming a Singaporean businessman of PHP 300,000.
On 16 November 2020, a cash cheque (Eastwest Bank, cheque #27661) of 300,000 PHP was given to Rodenia Udaundo Carpio for a business transaction to purchase wholesale rice (50kg sacks, from Vietnam).
Location was City Garden Grand Hotel, Makati Ave, 8008 Kalayaan Ave.
Rodenia Udaundo Carpio cashed out the cheque to cash, and promised us the 300,000 PHP would be handed to her lawyer to authorize the Bankers Guarantee documents from Deutsche Bank and China Bank within 3 days.
The Bankers Guarantee documents would be used to finance the purchase of the 5 million MT of rice from Vietnam, under her company One Divine World Holdings Corp.
As many weeks passed, we did not receive the promised Bankers Guarantee documents from Deutsche Bank and China Bank.
Rodenia Udaundo Carpio has been silent and avoiding direct communication with us. She then wrote a few Whatsapp messages promising to pay back the 300,000 PHP in full from December 1st , 2020.
Many deadlines have been missed, broken promises and more excuses and delays. We do not have any belief Rodenia Udaundo Carpio will pay back the 300,000 PHP anytime.
This webpage serves as documentary evidence to escalate this matter further to my lawyers and the relevant authorities for further action.
Rodenia Udaundo Carpio also has provided forged and fake documents under her company One Divine World Holdings Corp, claiming that Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (BSP) has a “certificate of deposit for a payment amounting of FIVE HUNDRED MILLION PESOS”.
This fake document Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas (BSP) even implies that Hon. Benjamin E. Diokno, Governor of BSP, has approved the payment.
We believe that Rodenia Udaundo Carpio has used this document many times to try and scam unsuspecting people to hand over money to her, for the purpose of commodity deals in the Philippines and that there are many victims who have yet to come forward.
